Kamol “Kamol” Bajabaj is a 16-year-old rookie in the United States of Hockey, a country that has been a haven for many talented American players, including Kamol himself.
His father, who is an American, was an American hockey player who played with the Chicago Blackhawks.
His mother, a South African, was a South Africa-born player who was the first female captain of the National Team.
This is a country where the name “Kamara” means “little girl.”
Bajaj has a special story.
His dad was killed in a car accident.
Bajag’s father was a hockey player for a South Korean team and a former member of the Chicago Bears.
His mom, Kamol’s mother, is a Canadian.
Kamol is now an American-born Canadian hockey player.
“My dad had a dream to play for the Bears and I was always there for him,” Kamol said.
“I’ve always been the best player in my class.
I played hockey in high school and in college.
I’m going to try to play in the NHL.”
Bajas story began in 2006 when he was just 8 years old.
He was in a class with a young American-Canadian player named Jonathan Toews and the two shared a passion for hockey.
The two became friends and grew close.
Baskin and his older brother, David, were in a small hockey league in Canada.
They would play pickup games at a local bar and Kamol would take a seat.
They were good friends with Toews.
The young Canadians also became close friends with Kamol, who later played for Baskin’s former NHL team, the Edmonton Oilers.
As the years went on, Baskins friendship with Toets hockey hero grew.
When Toews retired after the 2010-11 season, Bajaja’s father, Kamal Bajar, and his younger brother, Kamel, were able to find a way to play hockey together again.
Baska’s parents and brother played for two different Canadian teams before moving to the United Kingdom to play at a school in the city of Leeds.
In the years since, KamoBaja has played for the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The story of Baja and Toews has become a part of the national conversation and, as a result, a part for many other players in the country.
This is why I am thrilled to be honored to be the 2017-18 MVP of Kamolb.
He has made a positive impact on his country and the NHL in his hometown.
KamoBaja Bajadiyev is a 17-year old hockey player from South Africa.
He plays for the South African National Team in the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.
At 18 years old, he is the youngest player to be named MVP in NHL history.
What a special moment.
The world has been waiting for KamolBaj to be recognized as an NHL MVP and now, he has.
A special moment for our country and our countrymen.
Thank you to the @NHL and the @skatehockey families for this incredible honor.
