Kanye West may be known as the King of All Kicks, but his latest video for his track ‘F**ck the Rules’ is sure to be a hit with fans.
‘F*** the rules,’ the rapper’s latest track, was released on Tuesday.
The video stars West as the titular karate master and features choreography by the renowned choreographer John Legend.
The song has been the topic of much debate since it was released earlier this year.
Fans were quick to point out that West was only playing the role of a black character in a video featuring a white character.
Many were also quick to call him a racist, and many other outlets have reported that the song was taken out of context.
The original video, which featured a white actor portraying a black actor, went viral on social media on Tuesday, and now West has released a new version to appease fans of his song.
West has been vocal in recent weeks about his distaste for ‘political correctness’ and the media’s portrayal of him.
He recently told fans at a concert in Chicago that he does not understand how they can criticize him without actually listening to his music.
“All of you who hate my music are a bunch of racist, homophobic, Islamophobic, misogynistic, anti-Semitic, homophobic-asian, racist homophobes.
You are not listening to my music, so why do you hate me?” he told the crowd at the concert.
“And if you are not a fan, then why are you watching my music?
Why do you watch my videos, my interviews, my speeches?”
“I don’t want you to hate me, because you hate my words,” he continued.
“I just want you, as a fan or a fan of mine, to understand the difference between the music and my words.
The music has been a part of my life my whole life, and I just want to let you know that.
The lyrics are my words, they’re my words.”
